| Job Description | A load and unload worker, also known as a loader or unloader, is responsible for moving goods in and out of vehicles, warehouses, and other facilities: Loading and unloading: Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and other vehicles Inspecting: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy Securing: Secure shipments to prevent shifting and damage during transport Storing: Store unloaded products in designated areas Operating equipment: Use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment to move materials Maintaining inventory: Keep track of inventory and report any discrepancies Maintaining a clean environment: Keep the work area clean and organized Following instructions: Follow written and oral instruction | ||
